Description
Intern will perform physical properties testing. This includes test specimen preparation using band saw/planer/joiner machinery. Prepped specimens will be tested via UTM(universal test machine). Results will be tabulated in Excel spreadsheets along with other test documentation. Material to be tested is PVC plastic. Training will be provided.
Undergrad pursuing mechanical, civil, or materials engineering likely to get most benefit from the experience.
Hours are flexible either part-time or full time up to 40 hours/week between the hours of 8AM and 5 PM. monday through Friday.
Hourly rate is $14/hour with no other benefits.
